I was in town visiting my son and his wife and they raved about Nad's so we went for lunch. OMG!!!!! I'm from the south where a popular chicken chain fast food restaurant exists. Nad's chicken is 100% better! I ordered the tenders and shrimp platter. We cut one of the tenders to share because they're HUGE and you could actually see the juiciness of the chicken! My son who normally doesn't like fried shrimp because it's usually overcooked said this was the Best he's ever eaten. Now I understand why they love this place. It is very clean and neat and the staff were very welcoming! I will definitely return!
Food is freshly made. Quiet ambiance. Service was nice. There wasn't any sweetener for my ice tea , alas. The catfish and Snapper Fillets were delicious. Will be visiting soon again.
Not too bad, came here to try out the chicken and fish, turns out the best thing this place has is the fries, it is the real potato wedge fries, not your average processed ones, it's nicely seasoned and crispy. I had low hopes for it but it end up being the highlight of the meal!
The owner reached out to me personally, wanting to make things right, and I truly appreciated the effort. I decided to bring my family in, and we had the chicken and fish. It was just us that day, and the experience was amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Every once in awhile, humans will encounter a blue super moon. With more rarity than that, I'll find the epitome of a particular food. Nad's Chicken tenders is without a doubt, the pinnacle of what fried chicken is, should be, and will forever be. Amongst my travels throughout the United States, never in my life have I encountered a chicken tender combination such as this: Breading, seasoning, freshness, quiality, amount, visual appeal, lightness, crispiness, exhilirating to say the least. The tenders: 10/10. The fries: Incredible; 10/10. The SAUCE. The Cajun Sauce and House Sauce, 10/10. The sauces are so incredibly unique. The house sauce is creamy and elevates the flavor without the use of salt. The Cajun Hot sauce surprised me with its heat and flavor WITHOUT the need for copious amounts of vinegar like other places use as an excuse for spice. Combine all of these together and you have a meal that you need to take a minute to process with each bite. Just wow. I never have fried chicken, ever, beacuse of my experiences at other places. This place is a MUST if you're in the mood for some yummy chicken, wings, or seafood. The chicken is fried to perfection and the fries are addicting!!! Also get extra sauce bc it's so good haha :) The staff is super friendly and the owner is amazing! So stop in and say hi to Nad, and get some delicious grub!
We went here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't super busy and the restaurant was clean. We met the owner who was really nice and personable. I got the snapper and wings meal with fries & a side of the corn nuggets, my sister got the shrimp and wings with fries. I also got a banana pudding. The food was amazing. Whatever the white seasoning is that they sprinkle on it, they need to bottle and sell it. It's THAT good! My only 2 critiques are that the banana pudding wasn't bad but I probably wouldn't order it again. It felt a little gummy to me and the snapper was slightly overcooked for my liking but it was good nonetheless. I'll be back for sure.
